Marine artist. Temnikov Vladimir

Since my youth I have been practising painting as a hobby. My marine themes admiration is extended by creating ship models, which I have been doing all my life with degree in engineerig as a base for it. The themes of my artworks are based on the maritime history of the navy and merchant marine. My desire is to contribute to development of traditional maritime painting. My aim is to reach the historical correctness of the maritime subjects of my paintings perioding from middle XIX century to today; to show them in spectacular environments using possibilities of painterly impact. The two techniques I am using are oil and watercolour.
